We are BlockPower

BlockPower supports community ambassadors as they empower their networks to build health, wealth, and power in marginalized communities. As elections approach, we activate those ambassador networks to expand voter outreach and increase civic engagement.

In the 2020 general elections, we partnered with the New Georgia Project (one of Stacey Abrams’ groups), coordinated with Black Leaders Organizing for Communities in Milwaukee, and supported efforts in North Carolina to invest directly in Black communities and amplify Black voices in the 2020 General Election. Our partnership with the New Georgia Project continued into 2021 where we deployed relational voter engagement tactics using the BlockPower model and platform during the two Georgia Senate runoff elections.

BlockPower is committed to continuous improvement of its model and processes, seeing the primary and general elections every year as an opportunity to test and iterate.
